We're the Boomers who with no real intention, started to grow a bit of food for ourselves and a bit for others, built a little hen house, bought two Nubian dairy goats and ended up becoming SIMPLE FARMERS and confection makers.
Sandwiched between gated communities in the middle of Scottsdale suburbia a small goat dairy farm exists known as The Simple Farm.
Every Thursday we open our farm to the public from 8:30 until noon. At our French cafe breakfast breads and organic coffee is served.
Inside the converted horse barn you'll find a charming French Vintage style market. Baskets are with filled with the gourmet vegetables, flowers, fruit and herbs we grow (using organic practices) and at times we'll complement our market with other local produce.
We hand-milk our herd of purebred Nubian goats and several days a week we make salted goat milk caramels which are sold at different markets and venues across the Phoenix Valley as well as through our online store at www.simplycarmel.com
