Farm Updates - Lots Going On

Just in case you haven't been to the farm lately, I thought I'd tell you that lots is happening. We have ten new raised beds, compost piles that look glorious, different garden areas are getting cleaned up and pruned waiting for seeds. The greenhouse is full of seedling starts - tomatoes of all kinds, peppers, eggplant, new specialty cucumbers and watermelon. The hens are finally starting the produce those eggs we've been longing for and we're changing up some of our colors at our French Market.

We're also counting the weeks - 6.5 or so until new babies arrive at the farm. Every day I find myself enjoying watching those big goat bellies and listening to the mamas do "Goat Song" to those unborn kids. It's all good stuff!

Goat Song

Storm and Ahni are enjoying a little sun soak. Actually, I think Ahni's feel a bit of morning sickness by the looks of her.

I didn't want to disturb there sweet moment while trying to capture both of them singing their own Goat Song - so I whispered - meaning you have to listen carefully.  I'll capture more Goat Song today - probably from Lavender who is due the same day as Storm. Yesterday, DeLynn and I spent a few moments watching Lavender - and her babies bouncing around. Joy and delight fill many moments at our farm.
