French Essence - Lemon Verbena Infusion

Lemon verbena is one of the loveliest herbs ever. Not only does this sweetly fragranced herb make wonderful jelly that I sell at our farm, but it's most soothing for tea.

I was so excited to read Vicki Archer's blog post entitled Lemon Verbena Infusion this morning and her love of this beautiful herb.

Vicki says you can buy "bags of the dried leaves in the local Provencal markets . . ."

. . . but if you can't quite travel that farm  . . . I've regularly dried lemon verbena and it's available - sitting in a glass jar on a shelf on the Herb and Honey Buffett in the market at our farm.
