Watching Goats . . .

We're on goat kidding alert around here. Frequently, Michael, I or Anita will do a 'back end check' on both Storm and Marie. Both girls are due anytime from Wednesday on.  We check those back tail heads to see how the ligaments are loosening up.  Storm is definitely winning the race at this point.

Both girls have been secluded to our kidding area on the farm.  

And the first clear sign of some labor, she'll enter this special pen - The Birthing Pen.

It's all set and ready to go.  Our kidding kit is ready - just not to sure if we are. I only hope it's not one of those 2 am deliveries and we're praying for no complications.  We'll keep you posted.
